It certainly seems like Golf is the chosen vehicle for doing good just now. Over recent weeks All for Good has secured business to deliver four fundraising events in 2010.
Our agreement to support the work of Steve Cram and his charity, COCO has been extended, and next year we will deliver two Golf Day’s for Steve, working closely with Allison Curbishley and Extra Mile. De Vere Slaley Hall will host a COCO event on the 16th June, and a second day will take place at Tandridge Golf Club in Surrey on the 27th September, in conjunction with BBC presenter John Inverdale.
Double Olympic Champion Dame Kelly Holmes has recently established the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust, and is seeking to utilise the skills and commitment of the nation’s sporting champions and elite performers to inspire the lives of young people. The inaugural DKH Legacy Trust Golf Day will take place on the 6th May 2010 at the London Club, where we hope to raise valuable funds and profile for the Trust.
Nottingham based 2bm Ltd have been fantastic supporters of All for Good Golf events over the years, and they have now embarked on an ambitious challenge of their own. On the 21st June 2010, working in partnership with All for Good, 2bm will host the Longest Day Golf Challenge. 16 teams will complete 72 holes of golf in the daylight hours available on the longest day of the year, raising funds for Rainbows Hospice.
