All for Good had another busy year on the Golf course, which started at Brocket Hall in May for the sixth annual event for the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust. We were delighted to welcome Garmin as headline partners for the event, which also attracted further support from Sportscover, Antequera Golf, STX, LG and Lindemanns. Perhaps the highlight of the day came off the course, when Olympic Steeplechaser Eddie Wedderburn entertained the crowd and got up close and personal with Kelly during his impromptu rendition of Prince’s Purple Rain.
This year also saw a further two days in aid of WellChild, with Sky Sports’ Ed Chamberlin hosting a Football World Cup themed day at The London Club.
We received amazing support from a stellar cast of Celebrities including Jamie Redknapp, AP McCoy, Graeme Souness, Niall Quinn, Paul Merson and Phil Tufnell. Platts continued their incredible support of WellChild by sponsoring both events again, and Olympic Swimmer Mark Foster’s day at The Shire London was played out under sunny September skies.
“My Golf day for WellChild could not have been in safer hands. All for Good managed the development and delivery of the event from the outset, and staged a brilliant event.
The tone and atmosphere was spot on, and the feedback from Celebrities, teams and partners has been outstanding, giving us all massive confidence as we plan the 2015 event.” Ed Chamberlin, Sky Sports, WellChild Ambassador
I had a fantastic time. The day was organised and executed superbly from start to finish. A wonderful course, in wonderful weather for a wonderful charity. Thanks Wellchild! S. Smith, WellChild Mark Foster Golf day participant 2014
