In a summer so far blighted by what seems like constant rainfall in designated drought, All for Good has hosted and delivered four Golf days in dry weather! With the Olympic & Paralympic Games just around the corner, the schedule was truncated to try and ensure that we could still attract the Olympians and other personalities, and deliver high profile events for the sponsors and Charities concerned.
Studley Wood GC in Oxfordshire once again proved an excellent host, assisting with Steve Cram’s ‘southern’ event for COCO as well as the WellChild Celebrity Challenge with Mark Foster. Now in its third year, the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust event moved to the stunning Bearwood Lakes Golf Club near Reading, and will be returning in 2013 on the back of some amazing reviews and comments from Celebrities and corporate guests alike.
The best weather of all was present for the Steve Cram COCO day at De Vere Slaley Hall, which attracted over thirty teams across both courses in glorious sunshine.
All our days this year were fantastically and generously supported by Garmin, who supplied product, prizes and fundraising support in aid of the Charities. We certainly look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Garmin.
If we list the range of partnerships that were secured this year, it makes us realise just how fortunate we are to work with so many brands and partners who are so keen and willing to help make a difference – De Vere, Studley Wood GC, Bearwood Lakes GC, Taylormade adidas Golf, Garmin, Nike Golf, Lyle & Scott, Planet K2, Vitabiotics, Iconiq Drinks, La Cala Resort, and Villegas Golf – all deserve special mention!
Another great day! More innovation with the high tech scorecards and the Garmins. The event just gets better and better. Times are tough for corporate spending but this goes straight in the Calendar COCO-Steve Cram Day participant
