Dame Kelly Holmes, sunshine, and that elusive hole in one!
The stunning Heritage Course at the London Club once again played host to the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust Golf day, managed and delivered by All for Good, and kindly sponsored once again by K2 Performance Systems.
On a day of blue skies, the Celebrities turned out in support of Kelly and the Trust to play alongside the numerous corporate teams in attendance. Steve Backley, playing his home course, triumphed alongside one of the sponsors teams, but this wasn’t the only illustration of K2 living out their own work ethic and delivering a high quality performance! K2 Consultant Jim Constable only needed his tee shot on the 3rd but unfortunately for Jim, the prize Jaguar was on the 11th hole. Jaguar were the latest addition to an impressive line up of supporters of the day, and the sleek lines of the XJ model on the tee will certainly have been noticed by Mr Constable.
Our thanks go to K2, Jaguar and the London Club for helping with the delivery of a fantastic day for the Trust. In addition, Garmin, Lyle & Scott, Tommy Hilfiger, Mizuno Golf, Hotel Antequera, and Chapel Down Wines all provided invaluable contributions to a significant fundraising effort. Planning has already started for an even bigger and better event 2012.
