Extra dates - November 2011 - "New to Year 6 - literacy and numeracy' one-day course
Following the highly successful October 2011 'New to Year 6' course, Good Learning are providing extra dates in November 2011 (exact dates & venues tbc)
Good Learning is offering a one-day training programme for any teacher in your school that is ‘New to Year 6’.
The training will focus on the teaching of literacy and numeracy in Year 6. The day will include specific sessions on: • Reading, writing and mathematics • Overcoming barriers - moving children from L3 to L4 and L4 to L5 • Resources to support rapid recall • How to make good use of intervention materials • Sensible preparation for pupils to achieve their potential in statutory tests
